Well, although I didn't clue in to the correct update start time (happened at 2:00 eve time instead of 11:00 eve time as normal), at least my main has a long skill in. My alt on the other hand didn't get switched in time. Ah well.
So now that we're going through the EvE withdrawl symptoms without a forum, how are you all handleing it?

Heh heh, I set a 23 day skill (Recon V). That ought to cover any eventuality.
I'm catching up on blogging and commenting in between working!
I went back and forth between setting Frigate V, Cruiser V or Mining Foreman V. In the end, the prospect of the Orca coming online in the patch swayed my hand. I'll be about 4 days behind it, but still excited to have it done. The rest of the time I've been sleeping off a head cold and not really missing EVE all that much.
Don't forget it'll take a minimum of 5 days for the first Orca to come off the lines. And a bunch will be coming off the lines that fast (not from me unfortunately)
Doing Caldari Battleship V atm, which takes 40days on my Intelligent character O.o. That should do it for now.
Cozmik is training Weapon Upgrades V, and Demonia is on Medium Hybrid Turrets V.
I did go to bed much earlier yesterday, but the Last Ever Nano Fleet I wanted to lead got hit by the nasty crash 5 hours before the patch was supposed to start. Upon relogging EVE's population was very sparse as most people decided to let CCP do their thing.
I then spent some time tearing up tracks in rFactor; I was addicted to speed waaaaaay before EVE came along :))
